Affective Atmospheres and Interpersonal Encounters

This workshop explores the interpersonal dimension of affective atmospheres — the affective qualities that pervade shared spaces, shaping and being shaped by social interactions. Speakers from philosophy, psychology, architecture, and health sciences address how atmospheres emerge, how they are experienced and shared, and how to study them methodologically.
